Nyob Zoo / Hello : A Hmong Children's Bilingual Book
Nyob Zoo is a board book with repeating language patterns and predictable sentences to help build children's early literacy skills!Nyob Zoo presents a fresh new way to teach your children about Hmong kinship terminology. This double sided book features 22 colorful pages with illustrations and text in Hmong and English. Children will learn how to properly address their loved ones based on gender.
Initial sketches on how the main characters were made. The design is a chibi art inspired.
The book also showcasing the tradition Hmong clothing attire of the whole family. So I have included on creating the Hmong traditional pattern and necklaces.
